Advent begins on Sunday, December 1. Between the services (9:30-10:15 AM) we will have a special Jesse Tree Family Event in the Ocander Gallery. Join us as we prepare for Advent by journeying through the stories on Jesus’ family tree.
Trinity’s Annual Pumpkin Carving and Chili Supper is Sunday, Oct. 27 in Gardner Hall after the 10:30 AM service. Bring your pumpkins and your favorite chili – and enjoy some family fun! Carving supplies provided. If you plan to bring chili, please RSVP to Patty Kircher at pattykircher@gmail.com.
Trinity’s Fall Kick-off is coming up on Sunday, August 25. We will hold one COMBINED service at 9:30 AM (Quiet, Rite I) followed by food, fellowship, and FUN-raising. Lunch will be a Parish Potluck, and a Ministry Fair in Clarkson will have information about many of Trinity’s ministries.
Trinity Cathedral will march with the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska in the 2024 Heartland Pride Parade on Saturday, July 13! The parade begins at 10 AM and ends around noon at the CHI Health Center. Trinity will also have a booth at the festival following the parade.
All are welcome to join us on Sunday, December 3, between the services (9:30-10:15 AM) and after the later service (11:45 PM) to celebrate Mtr. Lisa’s ministry & ordination and make Advent Wreaths in Gardner Hall.
All are invited to our annual Chili Potluck and Pumpkin Carving on Sunday, October 22! Meet in Gardner Hall after the 10:30 AM service for delicious chili, fun, and fellowship. Some stencils, paper, pens, and carving supplies will be provided. Please bring your own pumpkin.

Trinity will hold a blessing of the backpacks during both services on Sunday, August 13. Students, teachers, school staff, and others who wish to join us will be invited forward for a special prayer, and to receive a button to put on their backpack or bag.

All young adults (loosely defined) are invited to join us for a Christmas Cookie exchange here at the cathedral on Thursday, December 8 at 7 PM. Bring your favorite cookies and join us for food and fellowship!
Join Br. James Dowd, OSB and Abby Z. Ybay, Oblate/OSB for a special retreat to begin the season of Advent. Together we will “wait on Christ,” contemplating how our hearts are longing for God. The retreat will occur on Saturday, December 3, from 9 AM – 1:30 PM in the Clarkson Center.
On November 20, all are invited to join us in Gardner Hall after the 10:30 AM service to celebrate the baptism of Margot Stevenson and for Entering the Season: Advent. In preparation for Advent, families can assemble an advent wreath and will receive liturgy that can be used at home throughout the advent season.
After the 10:30 AM service on Sunday, October 23, all are welcome to join us in Gardner Hall to carve pumpkins and enjoy a chili lunch. Children and youth are invited to wear friendly costumes if they wish!
Our annual Cathedral Block Party will take place on Sunday, August 28 after the 10:30 AM service. Join us for food, fellowship, and activities for our young people! Be sure to bring your school backpacks, bags, and/or work satchels with you to the service.
All are invited to join us in Gardner Hall after the 10:30 AM service on the First Sunday of Lent, March 6, for a Lent family craft! Bags with Lent Passports and craft supplies will also be available for pickup for those who wish to do the craft at home.

We will carve some pumpkins, eat some delicious homemade chili, and enjoy fellowship together. Our kids (and kids-at-heart) are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to church and the pumpkin carving if they wish!
After the 10:30 am service on August 29th, you are invited to join us outside on 18th Street for lunch and treats! A bounce house, bubbles, games, and our annual water balloon fight will take place for our young people to enjoy, and a blessing of the backpacks will occur at both services.

Enjoy some “Trinity Sunday Sundaes” and fellowship after the 10:30 AM service on May 30! Ice cream and a variety of toppings will also be available in the garden after the 8:30 AM service. You may grab some for later in the day, or eat it in the morning, we won’t judge!

Trinity 101, the cathedral’s new member class, will meet from 9:30-10:15am on Sundays March 1-29 in Gardner Hall. This is the class for anyone who has joined the cathedral in recent months or who would like to know more about the ministers of the cathedral, the Episcopal Church more broadly, and all of the Christian story. This is also the course for anyone who wants to be confirmed, received, or re-affirm their baptismal vows. We hope you will join us whether you are new or have been at Trinity for a long time!
