Balancing the Scales invites you to attend World Day Against the Death Penalty Eucharist on Friday, October 10 at 7 PM at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. World Day Against the Death Penalty is celebrated each year on October 10 to support the call for the end of capital punishment.

Bishop Barker will preside at the Eucharist and Rev. Stephen Griffith, former executive director of Nebraskans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty and UMC minister, will serve as preacher. Light reception to follow.
