Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is the day that begins Holy Week. Our liturgy begins with shouts of Hosanna recalling Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We read the Passion Narrative and hear that that entry was not to crown him as king but to crucify him. What follows over the course of the next week is a journey through the final moments of Jesus’ life with his disciples, his death on the cross having been mocked and crucified, and ultimately his resurrection from that death destroying death for all and promising abundant life for all and for the world.

Palm Sunday service is live at 9:00 am, and archived here: http://trinityepiscopal.org/video
