Historical Society mini-tour: “Her name was Caroline”

“Her name was Caroline” is the theme for the April 7th mini-tour given by the Historical Society. The mini-tour will feature the “Tree and Vine” window which is a memorial to Caroline Ann Joy French Morton (Mrs. J. Sterling Morton). Members of the Historical Society will walk attendees through Caroline’s life as a child growing up in Detroit and her adult life as planner, planter, gardener, wife, mother, civic leader and mistress of Arbor Lodge. Held after both services on April 7th, this “History In Our Midst: Arbor Day Commemoration” tour is not to be missed.
