Compline – night prayer – is the final worship of the day in the monastic system of canonical hours. This contemplative office focuses on spiritual peace. During the 35 minutes of sung Compline, no words are spoken; worshipers bathe in beautiful, timeless music, sung by Trinity’s Schola Cantorum. With lights dimmed and candles flickering, the calming ancient chants offer time and space for personal meditation and reflection. You will be invited to light a candle, offer prayers, and be still in God’s presence. Arrive at 6:45 for a brief introduction to Compline and a time of silent prayer.
