Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, founded in 1856, is the Cathedral for the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska. The nave, completed in 1883 and recognized for its neo-Gothic architecture and outstanding collection of stained glass windows, is the oldest continually operating church building in Nebraska. Trinity's historic pipe organ and tower bells sound forth each Sunday, and the Cathedral continues it long tradition of excellence in choral music. Evensong is offered several times each year, along with organ recitals and concerts. In addition to liturgical worship, the Cathedral is actively involved in service to the community through our food pantry and outreach in the downtown area and South Omaha. Visitors are always welcome.
