Copyright Act Notice

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets forth the privacy practices of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and only applies to information collected from trinityepiscopal.org.

Personal information that you have entered into our various webforms (name, email, address, phone number, date of birth, allergies/dietary restrictions, emergency contacts, pledges) is collected in order to track and respond to your registrations, submissions, prayer requests, and questions. Information sharing policies for each of our forms are detailed below. All forms share information with Squarespace, our website hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us.

  • Unless you indicate otherwise, the first names and last initial of people submitted in the prayer request form will be listed in our Sunday printed bulletins and cathedral newsletter. We do not print your email address or the details of your request.

  • Information entered into the children’s programming registration, music & arts inquiries, and our contact form is shared with the Dean of the Cathedral, along with whichever clergy, cathedral staff, and/or ministry leaders are relevant to your request.

  • Information provided in the Membership Form and Online Pledge Card* is shared with the Dean of the Cathedral, the Canon for Administration & Finance, relevant cathedral staff and ministry leaders, and recorded in Trinity’s online directory, Realm. Realm is a product of ACST Technologies, whose privacy policies and terms of service are available here.

    • *Note: The specific amount of your pledge is recorded in Realm, but visible only to the Canon for Administration & Finance, the Dean of the Cathedral, and the Treasurer.

Trinity Episcopal Cathedral collects your information when you provide consent; for purposes which are required by law; and for the purposes of responding to requests by government, a court of law or law enforcement authorities conducting an investigation. Trinity uses your information where it is necessary to fulfill our legitimate interests, which include operating our website, providing information and services described on our website, communicating with you via newsletters to which you subscribe, responding to your requests and questions, and informing you of areas of interest available.

If you no longer want Trinity to use your personal information, you may request that we deactivate your Realm profile (if you have one) and erase your information from our mailing lists by emailing office@trinityepiscopal.org. Trinity will retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for our legitimate business interests and to comply with legal obligations.

Some functions on our website are managed by third parties which have their own data privacy policies. Trinity Episcopal Cathedral encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from trinityepiscopal.org so that you can understand how those websites collect, use, and share your information. Trinity is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of trinityepiscopal.org.
