Our next session of Adult Formation will be a bridge between our September reflection and our Advent study. Last month, we discussed how we all are called to serve God and God’s people. In October and early November we will be focused on “The Great Commandment: Taking Jesus Seriously about Love.”

The two topics will prepare us for our Advent study, which will focus on the both/and of the Incarnation, in which Jesus revealed both who God is and who we can be as we follow him and his way of love, supported by the indwelling Holy Spirit that is our birthright.

We will meet in the third-floor Gathering Space (formerly known as the “Youth Room”). Please come to the single glass door on 18th Street where someone will let you in. Then you can take the stairs or the elevator up to our meeting space. As always, we will begin at 5:45 PM with Evening Prayer, followed by our session which will conclude by 7:00PM.
