This great liturgical season helps us to focus on the Incarnation of Christ. That Incarnation, God becoming human, was initiated by God, but at God’s design, required the assistance of other beings as well. Brother James Dowd will lead, The Advent of Advent, which will focus on four important “beings” of Advent. Join us on Wednesdays in Advent at 6:00 pm in the Clarkson Center conference room for the Advent of Advent.
Wednesday, November 28: The Prophet Isaiah
Wednesday, December 5: The Angel Gabriel
Wednesday, December 12: The Forerunner of Christ: John the Baptist
Wednesday, December 19: The Great Mother of God: the Virgin Mary
Each week we will explore the “being” itself and how they helped to bring about the Advent of Advent, the Scripture behind that “being” and the Tradition that grows out of that Scripture. Come join us for the Advent of Advent!
