Magdalene Omaha is a new non-profit that grew out of Trinity Cathedral’s Friends of Tamar ministry; its mission is to provide sanctuary for recovery and healing to women survivors of trafficking, abuse, and addiction. On October 15, they’ll celebrate their official launch with a kickoff fundraiser, featuring Becca Stevens, Episcopal priest and founder of the original Magdalene community. She and two graduates will share their inspirational stories, and Thistle Farms products will be available for sale afterwards!
