Day of Lamentation: A Vigil Against Gun Violence
Please join Bishop Barker, Bishops United Against Gun Violence, as well as congregations and dioceses across the Episcopal Church for a Day of Lamentation on Wednesday, March 14 as we keep vigil for peace, grieve those who have lost their lives to violence, and offer prayers of solidarity for voices of advocacy across the county.
Trinity Episcopal Cathedral will be open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for vigil and prayer.
Ecumenical Leaders will offer scripture, hymns & reflections at the beginning of each hour.
Holy Eucharist will be offered at 12:10 p.m.
You are invited to submit names of loved ones or others who have been victims of gun violence to Sarah Lara-Toney, Diocesan Administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org for inclusion in the vigil. If you would like to help with or participate in this vigil, please contact Br. James Dowd at email@example.com
